First - great mods!!

I have really been wanting to get the chrome window pillars on the doors. Someone told be they wouldn't last long. Are your's a good chrome quality and how did you apply them?
The chrome bug guard, and wheel well trim, did you get that thru Nissan and are they fairly easy to install?
Finally, your step is painted white as well as the mud flaps, do these chip easily since they are paint?

I really like the changes - nice job.

Thanks in advance for you answers.

RA,

I am totally pleased with my window pillars and they came with the 3M adhesive that holds on all the Nissan emblems so they won't come off easily. The bug guard and fender trim I had installed at a local rim and accessory shop. The running boards and splash guards have been painted for about a month now, but they used the Nissan paint and hardner and baked it on so they probably should last as long as you don't hit anything.

Who makes the fender trim? Haven't seen that before. I'm interested in getting something to help stop the splash from the wide tires. The only thing I saw I like so far is the QX fender trim.
Thanks

Who painted the roof rack, splash guards, and running boards for you? The dealership? Also, how much was it? I have a silver Armada and I want to paint those too.

Fender trim is made by Wildcat in Phoenix, I got it locally at a place called Auto Trim Design 434-845-7110, it's stainless steel and I think it was about $125. As far as the painting goes I used the body shop Nissan uses and it was $550 for everything, but it was well worth it. Even the guy that owns the Nissan dealership who drives a QX was sweating The Beast . Whenever I drive through the dealership everybody stops what they are doing to check out The Beast , and stoplights are even worst.

I never thought of "the beast" as being white, biblically speaking, but I guess it just goes to show we are much more complicated than we think we are.

Really, really nice Armada tweaks. Is the ARMADA lettering just the stock letters repositioned? I've been thinking of getting the roof rails painted to match (mine is Silver), but hadn't thought about the 'boards. That is a nice touch, although it wouldn't be as much of a change on a Silver as it is on yours.

Keep us posted on future developments, Pastor.

Wrong Beast!
My Beast speaks solely of it's size and strength as in "beast of the field" But yes that is the stock letters off the 05's.

I like the grill myself. It seems thicker and bolder which matches the Armada's look. Plus i haven't seen it on other Armada's. Where did you get the grille and who makes it?

Well you're about the only person, because everybody else has been sweating it, but to each his own. That's what makes the beast THE BEAST.

I found it at a little shop in Northern VA, but I don't what brand it is. All I know is that it cost a grip.

man hot truck, i had similar ideas with what i wanted to do with mine. my only question is this: do the cops mess with you about not having a front plate? i live in Manassas Va and if you think about doing something to your vehicle, they mail you a ticket. i get down 460W alot, my daughters grandparents live in Bedford so if you could hook me up with the shop you had your work done thru it would be much appreciated. hit me up at jnash757@aol.com or here. like i said, nice work on THE BEAST.

I think you did it right all in all. Monochrome paint, SS bug flare, 20" rims...all good stuff. And I doubt the cops will be ticketing a man of god for no front plate.

Man i stayed up in Daniels Gym for "gym jams" back in the day as well. as for daytime school activites, i was up in Hunter Mac damn near every class. Diggs' boy? that's wouldn't be Rev Dr Robert Diggs from Tabernacle Baptist Church would it? i grew up in that church on Halifax Street, my sister got married there and my mom and dad still go there. say word! Dboogie and Beast if any of these names are familiar to you holla back. in fact Beast do you know Rev. (Henry) Alvin Henderson out of Bedford Va? oh and before i forget, how exactly did you take the "pathfinder ARMADA" badges off your tailgate? did you use any chemicals to remove the adhesive after it was removed? i ordered my '05 ARMADA badges from Sheehy Nissan and they charged me $25. i was disgusted about that but i got it anyway the V8 for the doors are anothe $20 a piece, so if you know where i can get them for a better price could you let a brotha know. the parts guy and i measured the '04 ARMADA badge at 9.5" and the '05 ARMADA measures in at a bit over 11"

Armada Brotha: I may be wrong, but I believe when The Beast asked if I was one of Diggs boys, I think he was asking if I was a member of Kappa Alpha Psi.
Mr. Elder Watson Diggs was the founder of the fraternity and by asking if I was one of Diggs boys he was asking if I was part of the fraternity.
Heehhehe, you remember those "gym jams" too :D
NO FURTHER WORDS NEED TO BE SAID!
Just to stay on topic...have you tried Ebay for your Armada/V-8 emblems? I bought my Armada in January '04 and wanted the V8 emblem to go on the door (where they are now on the '05's). I looked on Ebay and won 2 of them...i BELIEVE i paid about 15-20 bucks for both. They are the EXACT same emblems put on by the factory.

I got my badges from the dealership and I can't remember how much they were. Yes I was refering to my frat. I'm familiar with Rev. Diggs, but not the one in bedford. I spent my time in Hunter Mac I was an engineering student. Randy Ellis gave me my line name. In order to remove the badges use fishing line to get the letters off and then use googone to remove the leftover adhesive.

Holla!

I got them from a local shop for about $65 and the body shop charged me $50 to paint them.
