He has sold his, but I have found some others that I have purchased. I may have some questions for you once I receive these. I have a 2005 LE, so I believe I just need the mirror switch, is this correct?

tuff call. it all depends on what main harnesses nissan installed. these mirrors need two connections at the main harnesses PLUS you need the ADP box.. if you have memory seats then you should have this box already. if your 05 is a later model 05 then its real good you have the harnesses.

but yeah all the best on your search and i can definitely help you out if you need it...

Well, we will see, I am going from a LE not an SE so most of it should be plug and play, I know I need to add the switch in the arm rest, there is a spot already there, that was meant for this mod in the first place. I have the ADP with all the memory functions. Muth shows on their website how to tap into the blinker if for some reason that doesn't work, and I have the auto dimming rearview mirror that can be tapped into if necessary. I expect to have to do some wiring, but I expect it to mostly be hooking up the folding switch. I love a good challenge, I would not even attempt this if I had an SE model, to much work and extra costs for missing parts.

yes if you ever have time in the library (what i call the bathroom! :D) read up on my post. i had an SE at the time , an 06, and it was way too much money for that mod. the arm rest switch is just plug n play but i had to tap into the rearview mirror to get the auto dim and had to tap into the fuse box on the passenger side to get the folding option since the main harnesses didnt have the other connector... it was simple but time consuming...

I know I will be calling on you for some assistance. First though do you have the part number for the folding mirror switch that goes in the armrest? Also, I know you had an SE, do you have any idea if I will need to tap into the rearview mirror for the auto dim with an LE? I would appreciate any information you have on wiring the folding switch and information on getting the passenger mirror to fold. Graphs, wiring diagrams etc. You can PM me or post here. Your post from your project is what I am going off of, there was another member who did this with an LE, but he never posted where he ended up.

Thanks

yeah that guy just dropped off the planet! FLcrusin wasnt it?

i dont have the item number for the switch..i thought i posted it in the thread? but you can just go to a nissan dealer, get a VIN number to an LE and they can pull the switch number for you..

and if you have the extra connector off the main harness then you dont need to tap into the rear view mirror.. i had to because i didnt have it. and i had to tap into the blinkers for the mirrors to blink... it was a fun project.. taking door panels off, re wiring the doors... :D

Well you just never know what you will get with the Armada, I have a late year 2005 LE, yet I have the old harness to my mirror switch so it will not plug into the new mirror switch, you gotta love it. I will try to find a used harness that will fit my switch and rewire. Shouldn't be a big deal if I can find the harness, just disappointed that I have the wrong one. On a positive note, installing the mirrors was a breeze. I won't be able to move forward until I resolve the harness issue.
