The guy trying to sell me the lights said that as long as they're HID i can change to different bulbs like 6k or 8k. Make sure they aren't jacking up the price just because it is a D2R. Most suppliers should sell that bulb for what they sell the 9006 single beam for as they are grouped in the same manufacturing process. I am sponsoring a group buy with CA starting in November if you want to wait that long. Anything higher, and the bulbs start turning bluish-purple with less actual light emitting from the bulbs. If you look at my sig, those are rebased(9006 lows / 880 fogs) Philips D2R Ultinon 6k bulbs. I've had those on since I picked up the truck back in 06 and still going strong. Although I don't think Philips makes them anymore but plenty of other options floating around ebay if you don't want to spend too much. | ||
