does that price include the labor AND LEDs? if so that is extremely cheap.

i, and some others, have changed out to LEDs.. i have every light except the visor lights swapped to LEDs(they didnt have any for the visor at the time). VLEDs.com will give you an idea of what quality LEDs cost. i purchased mine from vleds. there are other places but vleds are top notch. there is a thread on this on this forum in the general section.... if you cant find it let me know but its pretty easy...

ooh, i would ask to see the LEDs first. that is below dirt cheap...

yeah bro.. cheap-o... they will more than likely be really low light output. similar to the ones you can get from pep boys, etc. the vleds have a lot of led lights and they are designed to fire on to the reflective part of your taillight housing. the interior leds really class up the joint.. :D

I need help too. How do you get the interior cabin lights out of the sockets? They appear to be plenty loose but they just dont come down! There has to be some kind of retainer? any tips?

the 4 spot lights? no retainer, just pull off the cap/lens to expose the bulb and pull straight down. I didn't even need pliers. But putting the LED in was a different story!

Nothing to it actually. Just get a pair of pliers or a multi-tool. Put enough pressure on them to get a good grip and pull them straight out.

I've changed out all of mine (except the vanity and license plate) without any true problems.

Really? I tried for 1/2 hour on 2 of them. It is hard to get a grip on them. Maybe I'll try it with rubber gloves. I have some 1W leds to replace them with. Thanks for the info.

Yep! The first one took me a bit, becaus I didn't want to break the bulb. After I figured out how much pressure I needed to apply, the remaining three were a snap. Don't manhandle the bulbs, but put a decent amount of pressure on them with the pliers (I used needle nosed) and they won't break...they will come out. Then you'll be like "damn...is that all it took???!!!"

Bingo! I used safety wire pliers and they came right out. You are right I was scared to shatter the bulb and have hot glass raining down in my eyes!. The safety wire pliers have small ribs to grip the bulb easily. Thanks again for the info without it I would still be out there trying to do it by hand.

Excellent!

I know what you mean about the broken glass! I had my head turned and eyes close the whole time. But it's amazing how mug pressure those little bulbs can take. But man is it worth it after you've installed them all!!!

LEDs are the way to go!
