Hey folks, Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm new to the forum, and the proud owner of a new Silver '05 LE 4x4.
I was lurking before settling on the suv.
Purchase price was 44190 ($300 over invoice) for 4x4 LE w Tech, DVD, and Sirius sat radio. I took the 3% financing instead of the 2K rebate. Then I got suckered in financing for the 84 mo/70K miles bumper to bumper warranty and 60 mo/75K miles free maintenance. Between the two packages I added another $2750.
Financed 100%, out the door was 50800, approx $910 per mo for 60 mos.
I think I did ok on price, but I'm hating the fact that I got sold into buying the service options. Finance guy would just NOT let me go -- seriously, he sold me on it for a full hour. I finally got so tired (doing the deal at 9-10pm at night) I gave in... Prob not an excellent deal, but I'll get over it. At least I have the car now!
BTW, I don't have any shuddering even when hitting 80 mph on the freeway. Truck is very very smooth, and very very quiet.
