We're in the middle of making a trip from Las Vegas, NV to Dallas, TX, to San Antonio, TX, then back to Vegas. If you try to set the cruise above 90 mph, it wont work. Anyone else experience this? Just want to make sure.

BTW, the Passport 8500 radar detector works wonders!

As it states in the owners manual, the cruise works only between 30 to 90 MPH.
That should be fast enough!

Haha. I would have never thought to look there because 90 mph is over any legal speed.....:)

I recall driving to Sun Valley in my 95 Pathfinder in Idaho slowly working my way up to 100. Speed limit was 80, so 85-90 was no biggie. Finally my wife noticed and asked why we were going so fast! I would say in the 'Mada working my way up to 100 will take the blink of an eye. Haven't been there yet, my Solo cordless is just a little too tired, next is an 8500.
Too Tall- what kind of mileage you getting at 90+?
