2004 Mada with 105K, driving tonight had the SES light come on which threw code #1167 which says its a HO2S2 (B2) according to the code list.
Turned her off but still shows the SES light when I start it back up.

Does anyone know what that is and what it means, many of the other codes I can figure out but this ones a mystery to me?

That is the heated oxygen sensor, bank 2 (passenger side).

I looked at the parts diagram at Courtesy and it shows two different part numbers but every parts store I call shows they are the same?

I see:

22690N SKU #226AO-TA60001 $145.98
22690NA SKU #226AO-TA60002 $145.98

Looks like the 22690NA is on the passenger side. Is this right? Maybe Nissan just has different parts #'s to tell you which side they are on but actually part is the same?

I just had a bad O2 sensor on my '09. Not sure of the code, will have to check my repair invoice to see, but of course the warranty took care of the cost.

Before you buy a new sensor you may want to switch sides with the sensors and see if the same code comes back. If the code switches to the other side then you have a bad sensor. If the code stays on the same side you have a problem with the cat or wiring on that side.
