Anyone have any ideas? Hatch was working fine one day...next it simply won't open. Tried key fob, button by driver and rear handle, rear hatch will not respond, don't want to force it and break something. Called local dealer they suggested using the key to open......problem is I don't see a key hole. Anyone seen this before? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem. You have to get in the back and pull off that little door on the rear hatch and press the white lever all the way down and then it will work. Something came loose but I don't want to tear into the door so I am just going to tie it down so it wont go up to solve the problem. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply Rumplecat. I was able to get the door open using the access port in the rear hatch. The lever seems to be down all the way, so not sure that is the issue. Once open I can hit the close button and the motor will pull it down and I can stop it halfway down and the motor will then push it back up like it is supposed to, so I don't think it's an issue with motor. I think the issue lies in the latch itself. When it's almost closed and starting to latch the motor senses it's hitting something and tries to open back up, but the latch catches just enough to hold the door and it then beeps a few times indicating there is a problem. I'll keep you posted on the fix....if I find one.

I have the same issue. It started about a year ago. I took it to the dealer and they wanted $300 to repair. They said the plastic slide wears and needs to be replaced. Mine just started doing it again. I took the door apart and it looks like a simple fix if I can get the part.
