: Samsung LED TV Group Buy Anyone??
ArmaDen 01-22-2010, 01:49 AM Received an interesting proforma from one of my suppliers today so I thought I would throw it out there to see if it would interest anyone out here in the CA or CT Communities…or anyone for that matter. I was a little shocked myself when I saw the prices. I know it is still “by definition” a recession but the amounts might make it possible without taking out a second. These are New In Box (NIB) Samsung LED TV's. Not LCD or Plasma’s. Latest and greatest LED TV’s. 2-Year International Warranty. Look them up on Google. (copy from below) Couch potatoes can actually save the environment by watching these instead of the 27” they have from college! I have three old-school TV’s in my basement that are being donated after this buy. Series 6, 7 and 8. The Fine Print: Shipping is on top (in addition to) the price.... If we can get the volume, and by volume I mean over 10 pieces/units so that we can get the shipping charges to average out I have been assured that we can get to 50% of what you can get ANY of these TV's on Amazon. Not too bad. Under 10 it is around 75% of the price of Amazon. The volume has to be there to complete the buy and I won't receive my "Test Case" sample until early February. As many know; I don't sell anything until I take the guinea-pig test myself. Have to make sure the item receives in good order and not in a million pieces. Orders like this take a little time to put together so that is why I am going through the feeling-out process now. No, you will not get your new 55 inch LED by Superbowl time just to set the expectation. These are the model numbers so there are plenty to choose from in various price ranges...
UN55B6000 55" 1080p LED HDTV
UN46B6000 46" 1080p LED HDTV
UN40B6000 40" 1080p LED HDTV
UN32B6000 32" 1080p LED HDTV
UN55B7100 55" 1080p LED HDTV
UN46B7100 46" 1080p LED HDTV
UN55B7000 55" 1080p LED HDTV
UN46B7000 46" 1080p LED HDTV
UN40B7000 40" 1080p LED HDTV
UN55B8500 55" 1080P LED HDTV
UN46B8500 46" 1080P LED HDTV
UN55B8000 55" 1080p LED HDTV
UN46B8000 46" 1080p LED HDTV
Look them up on Google by the full line ID (UN55B8500 55" 1080P LED HDTV) and then go to the Amazon link. Find the best price and then subtract 50%. Pretty cut and dry. Shipping generally goes about $150(smaller) to $200(larger).... When and IF we can get a buy together 50% of the sale price is due on order to secure and the remainder once shipping and tracking numbers are issued. Let me know. Tell a friend? I’ll give this one a week or two to spread and then we will start the locking-in process. Thanks for checking it out. AI
ArmaDen 01-22-2010, 01:55 AM Forgot to mention. Those that may be interested in wholesale or volume sales.. please email me direct at altitudeimporters@gmail.com. Thanks
blklegend 01-22-2010, 11:44 AM Will there be warranties on these units? Also can we pick them up?
ArmaDen 01-22-2010, 11:55 AM Per my supplier, they come with a standard 1 Year international warranty.
BlakSpyda 01-22-2010, 12:07 PM Sonds like a good deal ArmaDen! Based on those prices, I will be interested, but after the first round goes through!
Welcome to the club blklegend!
You might want to look at these TVs or comparable ones at retails stores or clubs such as Sam's. I think the prices for these are somewhat inflated at Amazon. The 55's should be priced on the $1,100 - $1,400 range (retail).
So, you mean I could get a 32" LED TV for $400 or a 40" LED for $500????
blklegend 01-22-2010, 12:53 PM Welcome to the club blklegend!
Thanks... I don't own a Aramada or QX, but looking into getting a QX this year.
ArmaDen 01-22-2010, 01:34 PM blklegend, I'm sure if you are around the Denver area or that part of Colorado we could arrange a meet and swap. FP, You found LED flat screens for that or were they the LCD's? Thanks
ArmaDen 01-22-2010, 01:36 PM Pops, you are correct. My sample order is the 32" to make sure all is legit and they don't arrive in a million pieces. I guess all of them have to get over here that way so the shippers must have it down so they don't have to buy them after breaking them or stabbing them with a forklift! lol. Keeping my fingers crossed.
ntrddragn 01-22-2010, 02:20 PM Im thinking FP is thinking of LCD not LED. I have a 52" Samsung LCD and it was 1400 a few months back. i dont think 55" LED would be cheaper then a LCD since its the newer technology. I personally think Samsung is by far the better tv then the vizo or the bravia. Can you get like a definite price because price do vary from site to site, place to place. I have someone who might be interested in getting a 40" 6 series.
Oh btw FP..i sent ya a PM.
ArmaDen 01-22-2010, 11:15 PM Evening ntrddrgn, I want to make sure all is legit prior to sealing any deals. Sometimes when things appear to be to-good-to-be-true...they are. Have to do some background checks on this supplier and then complete the sample order. Should have word back the first week of February.
cjcorrea 01-23-2010, 05:00 AM I need a 40"
GodfathersArmada 01-23-2010, 06:29 AM i just bought a 55 LED from Frys out here in LA. $2099 7000 series..I'd be down for another if this works.
ArmaDen 01-23-2010, 09:12 AM Thanks for the interest all. Doing my research now. Will keep everyone posted. I would like to see this work as well. Could use a cool new TV. From what I read these Samsungs are receiving good ratings for their LEDs so that's reassuring. As long as the supplier holds their end of the deal.
Scorpion 01-23-2010, 02:42 PM BTW whats up with the LED lights for the interior of the madas?
9balllrook 01-23-2010, 04:50 PM you must have missed the post:

Yes, Scorpion the interior packages are in. I'll send you a PM regarding the final items and they will go out Monday bright and early!
I bought a UN55B8500 55" LED about 6 months ago for $2800 OTD at hhgregg...I'd be in if it goes good for others.

cjcorrea 02-01-2010, 08:16 PM Anything on this deal?
Optimusprime 02-02-2010, 02:40 PM i recently purchase a 55ins 7000 series from ABES OF Maine for 2'200 and free shipping and no tax.which i think was a good deal.if you are going to get it cheaper it will be a great buy.also readers need to know that this Samsung LED tv 46 inches and above is the ultra thin TV 1.2 inches thick that connects to the internet to give a lot of additional widgets.its a great TV.
ArmaDen 02-02-2010, 09:09 PM This one is still in the works. Have a couple of suppliers who "claim" they have the best deal, newest items, blah blah and you know how that goes. Negotiating from thousands of miles away is a bit like a root canal without the pain killers. If this comes to fruition and is legit I will post the pics of my test item. Already have been through one bad supplier that fell short.
ntrddragn 02-04-2010, 02:45 PM keep us posted on this :D
bsljacques 02-04-2010, 05:24 PM I may have to get some of this action! Let us know how it goes!
GeoA(Atl)07LE 02-05-2010, 09:29 PM I'm been watching these especially with Superbowl pricing. I'm interested especially if I can beat this price by enough to justify it. It would have to be better than a couple of hundred. I don't think $200 is enough compared to a local store with local customer service and a manager that I can look in the eye. However, $500 or so would be worth the risk that's after any shipping since the local Best buy doesn't charge any.
Good luck!
scot0410 03-04-2010, 10:19 AM Any news on this one?
cjcorrea 03-04-2010, 07:51 PM really what happen?
ArmaDen 03-04-2010, 09:01 PM This one has gone the way of the dinosaur. The supplier wanted unrealistic quantities in terms of container volume shipments but at the same time would not fulfill the sample shipment. Sometimes things are truly too good to be true. Sorry guys. Sticking to HIDs and LEDs for now until I can test some projector housings.
