I had to do this over the weekend also. Was messing with the stereo. Put everything back and when I started the car airbag lights were flashing. Thanks for the tip. Save time and money.

thanks so much! i bought mine with this flashing, figured I would have to have the dealer rest it/check it out. I was able to fix it within 5 minutes. Now hopefully it wont come back on and hopefully all is ok with the airbags :)

well unfortunately this happen to me about 2 months ago and the dealerships ordered a part. was covered under warranty, it had something to do with the seatbelt and some other thing i cant remember.

I did mine too (4 days ago, but forgot to post here)! That's crazy how old the original post is...
Thanks to this thread I "fixed" what the dealership was unable to do.

They attempted to fix it, but it came back after 1 mile of driving! :rolleyes:

But since using this posted reset, I haven't seen the light in 4 days.

Mine goes off every once in a while, try the rest procedure, sometimes it works, sometimes i have to disconnect the battery, and the plugs under the seat, then it resets it self.

i have attempted several times to reset it using the ignition, i tried unplugging the seat belt wires and the plugging them back in; i even unplugged the battery and it still blinks!!
My 05 Armada is getting old. Rear tailgate binds on something, 3rd brake light out and now the airbag light wont stop blinking.

Had my light flashing for a couple of days before finding this fix. Thanks for posting it. Worked like a charm.
