Mr. Shock! :D

i have a 2008 armada LE with rear auto level suspension. im looking to see the cost of a set of those HD shocks everyone on here are raving about.

i also may be looking at some brake pads...

i have 24 inch wheels if that makes a difference... not sure of the offset but the wheels are flush with the car/under the car and dont stick out..

if you sale brake pads, can you advise me on a quote of the shocks you recommend and pads? i dont need fancy pads, but would like the ones with the least amount of brake dust. i have 29K and the OEM pads dont dust up a lot form what i have seen...

you can PM me if you need to.. my ship to zip code is GA 30122

thx. respond at your convenience..

You need to call them. ShockWarehouse if you want them and they will give you a Club Armada discount. http://www.shockwarehouse.com/ or call their toll free number 1-800-245-7469. The HDs are listed for Titan's but work on the Armada.

I use EBC Green Stuff 7000 series front brake pads. They are much better than OEM. Haven't changed rear pads yet.

Scot - in what way are they better? I'm just over 50K with the originals still in and I'm thinking it's getting close to replacement time.

Thanks, Keith

Campfamily, they have much better stopping feel/capability. Dust is very minimal and I have noticed that they are quieter.
They also make a yellow stuff pad for suv's which I would have gotten, but web site stated that dust levels are compareable to oem.
I would recommend them (green 7000 series)

Thanks Blackspyda, that's correct, the Titan shocks will fit and many members on here have them, but we can't advertise them as Armada shocks because Bilstein doesn't guarantee fitment
Here they are again: http://www.shockwarehouse.com/site/product.cfm?id=282321
And we have Monroe Ceramic Brake Pads for your Armada, they give off less dust than a traditional semi-metallic pad and the dust is lighter, so it doesn't show as much.

I just found out that they are, Bilstein says that they won't be available until the beginning of March. The alternative is F4-BE5-D185-H0, which is a Bilstein 5100 series shock capable of leveling your truck with about 2.5 inches of lift, but will also work at stock height.
