One of my buddy bought a 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe. I know the Armada ranks with Chevy in the HP category but the inside look of the Tahoe??? It is small and not as roomy, especially the Tahoe's 3rd row seat and no space rear cargo. Love the Armada.

I looked at a Tahoe before I bought my Armada, but wasn't impressed with the legroom in any row of seats. My father has a Yukon XL which has less legroom in the middle row than my Armada. The dealers were really proud of their Tahoe’s' to. I looked at a used 2007 with 77,000 miles and the dealer wanted 35K for it. My Armada also feels stronger and the driveline is smoother. oother.

I tried a white chevy tahoe LTZ used with about 40k miles and they wanted 30k. I drove it and checked the inside, not impressed. BUT i loved the chevy ltz so bad i was going to make an exception, but, when i tried the mada, Whoa,,,, i was sold! Very powerful, a lot of leg room etc, you guys know the drill...

Same scenario. Also I have to admit the technology for the Armada was way ahead of Tahoe or Suburban. The "2007 and up" Tahoe just got their back sensors where the 2004 Armada, 3 years ahead, been having the sensors in the back. Proud Owner!!!!!!!!

Boys, I did not even try other vehicles. I had an expedition 2004, booooooooring. The American SUV's are not the way to go. Sorry folks.

I have never been in a Tahoe but I have to admit they are very sharp looking trucks - especially the Yukon.

I still love my Armada however and am consistently impressed with how it can haul butt the way it does at 5600 lbs. It's very nimble and quick for such a behemoth!

I'm down that the 2008 came out with the push button start as I would really like to have had that feature.

Let me ask you newer owners - have the rattles been worked out?

new guy here ...i work at a mutli line dealer that sells nissan and chevrolet... the biggest disctinction i can make between the platinum and ltz tahoe is that the interior and technology is light years behind nissans technology and space. i.e - navi, music box, etc ..and a comparably equiped tahoe is 8K more!!!!plus the tahoe interior is discustingly cheap and boring.. of course the ltz has a 6.0 so it does fly a bit more. i pulled the two side by side and the armada has much more sufficient middle row and third row space..not to mention driver/passanger space...i have two car seats and i am 6 -2 ...the tahoe jammed me up the rear facing behind me ..not in the nissan.. plus armada has better towing capablilites..hands down the armada wins...unless of course if you like your running boards to retract up and down ..hahahah
