'04 Armada Interior overhead rocking light switch is broken, no lights in either
direction. But, Map lights work good when you click directly on them, individually. I can
feel a difference in the switch, like a "no contact at all feeling" when I move it.

I guess I need to pull down the upper headliner console thingy and poke around? Install a new switch. How hard can that be?

Probably not to hard to replace. Harder to find the switch by itself.

I guess I will pop the console down, take the switch apart if I can, and try to fix it then.

OK,

I pulled the console down, took out the whole lamp itself, looked at the rocker switch, pulled it apart. very worn. I cleaned and tweaked it, put it all back together and it Works for now, but I doubt it will last for very long, so better get a new one.

I called Nissan, tried to find out what part it is, they say I need the "Whole Roof Console" in front, cost $170.00. Maybe I will take the part to my local dealer who can help me out. But, I like the advice here mo better.
