Hi people.
Ive been lurking on the board for a while as my friend as an Armada and I'm thinking about buying one.
I know that they are changing the body style and I absolutely HATE the new one. So I'm here asking you all for some advice on getting a new 2010, thinking that the closer they get to releasing the 2011, the better deal I can get on a 2010 as they try to clear inventory to make room.
Do you know around what month is a good time to walkin in to try to strike a deal? Im looking for a platinum 4x4 - all balls version :)
Or is my logic wrong on waiting for the 2011s to come in terms of price...?
(im in no rush and can wait. My goal is the best cost I can get)
Thanks for the advice in advance!

I would look for the one you want now and make your best deal. I don't think the 2010s will last. I'm in the same boat, I have a 2004 LE and am looking to upgrade to a 2010.

New one will have better electronics, be a bit smoother. It will also be more expensive.
Pick your color and make a deal...check the rebate level. Some colors are harder to find then others.

I agree with DavidNJ. I traded in my 2007 Armada for a 2010 and it rides so much smoother & interior is so much nicer. Doesn't look cheap like my 07.They took off $5,000 off the sticker & gave me $1,000 above Kelly Blue Book for my '07 Armada. They didn't have to many to choose from 2 SE's & 1 Platinum. None of the dealers here in Vegas have the Titanium which I really wanted. Very hard to get Tuscan Sun too. Good Luck !!

I saw Tuscan Sun on an SE and didn't like it, then ended up getting on the QX56 (same color code). IMHO the color works MUCH better with the chrome. Without the chrome it is a little too yellow.
Note: reds is on the color wheel between blue and yellow. virtually all reds and maroons tend visibly to purple or orange/brown

I had a '05 Armada LE, but traded it off for a '05 Path after 6 months because of the size. However, my girls are getting taller and the Path was just too small for the trips we take so I went back to the Armada last month. I had the same question that you have, but I was very specific as to what I wanted (Platinum, with rear heated captain's, mud guards, floor mats, graphite interior, 4x4). I decided that since I got $9K off list, this was the time. I suspect that Nissan will not overbuild, and that if there are any better deals it will be due to poor combinations of color/features. Also, I'm betting that there are other folks waiting to get a 2010 and that will snatch up even more inventory.

Not sure about the Armadas, but the new models are usually released some time in October, November. Make sure you check the internet dealers first. I set my search at 150 miles range. Back in '05 there were a lot more at the dealers. Last several times when I was at my local dealer they have not stocked one in years. I was told it's a special order only. Good luck, let us know how you made out.

right now would be a great time to buy. nissan is offering a $4,000 rebate, and on the model you are looking for, you should be looking about 43-44k before taxes. most places will sell for a couple hundred above invoice minus the rebate. check edmunds.com where you can price one out and see the invoice price for exactly the model you are looking for. here is the pricing i did on a platimun 2010 4x4: http://www.edmunds.com/new/2010/nissan/armada/101163108/optionsresults.html?action=2

I think you should find the one you want now as it is a great time to buy if you qualify for credit/ or have the money to buy it in cash.
I think if you wait too close to the Fall, the one you specifically want might be hard to find or not in stock anywhere.
