I believe I have one LED out on the far left of the 3rd brake light assembly (I count six LED's that are currently working) but it looks like there are seven LED, but it hard to be sure looking thru the lens. Could someone please verify how many LED's are in the assembly. Thanks in advance.

IIRC, they are not LED lights

Okay, I assumed they were LED since they are in a none serviceable assembly. Do you know how many incandescent bulbs are in the assembly? I appreciate it.

according to the FSM, the third brake light is removed by taking off the factory finisher (ie small spoiler) and removing the light module. Seems to have 3 mounting clips. It says that the bulbs are not serviceable. Appears that if enough bulbs are out to bother you, it must be replaced.

They are led's that's why you have to replace the entire module. As long as only ones out it shouldn't be too bad but I would go ahead and order a new one just incase more of them go out.

IDK for sure, but they sure don't look like LEDs from the outside when lit up. I think that it's an integrated unit due to the washer nozzle.
