Since I've already participated in some of the discussions and have already benefited from the group, I wanted to make sure to introduce myself to avoid the appearance of being rude :)
I (very relunctantly) traded in my 2008 Pathfinder LE V8 for a new Armada just 2 tankfulls ago in order to give myself a little more margin of safety for the towing capacity I need for my (also new) 31 foot Evergreen ultralight camping trailer. I still have to get used to driving the Armada - initially the Pathfinder felt like a sportscar in comparison - but I'm getting there.

Initial gas mileage is really bad (less then 10mpg) around town but jumps up somewhat on the road. And I thought that my V8 Pathfinder was bad (15.5mpg over 20K miles). It still feels real tight though - I'll give more time.

Mod - wise, I am interested in the 2 degree timing advance that I've read of here and possibly some other minor things like better headlight lamps. Did I mention yet that after 2 weeks I really do like the Armada and so does my wife? Anyway, the group seems alive and of real benefit so I joined lifetime :D

Personally i think that once you get used to the armada you will never be able to go back to the pathfinder lol.

You're probably right but that V8 Pathy was fast and athletic - surprisingly so - and could tow pretty well, but suffered (towing-wise) from a shorter wheelbase and lighter weight. Like I said, we are already growing into the Armada. You guys will help me ;>)

I went from Armada to Path and back to Armada last month. Each time a real change, with +/- with each. I'm looking forward to the space again and will quit having to use the carrier so much.
Regarding the gas, I've just given up on managing that!

I owned a Pathfinder LE Fully Loaded.... It took me a really long time to get over that vehicle. Actually, it wasn't until I put a lift on my Mada.... then the Pathfinder became a distant memory! lol
