On my SE off Road I have leather but no heated seats. I noticed on the console in front of the shifter you can faintly see the cut outs (if you look just right) for the switches. It got me thinking, does anyone know if the leather seats are pre-wired? If they are you would just have to add the switches.

Probably not, but you can purchase aftermarket seat heaters pretty cheap and install them yourself. Then buy some stock switches or install the aftermarket ones in the stock locations.

Heated seats (and the power lift gate) were one of things that pushed us to the LE over an SE O/R with leather package. Very nice they are. I'd recommend them if you find some that will work.

Thanks for the reply. It did come with the power lift gate but I was very surprised a leather vehicle in this price range was minus the heated seats. I actually noticed they were not in there after the deal was done. I then realized they are an LE only item. What are names of the after market co's that sell them?

Don't know, but I'm willing to bet one of the site sponsors could track them down for you.

I have the LE package with the power lift gate, sunroof and leather seats. My leather seats do have the seat warmers. I really didn't want leather seats but if I got a sunroof, I had to have the leather seats. The seat warmers are nice and make up for the fact I had to have leather!
