Sorry to start up another thread about front and rear shocks, but i have been searching for about an hour or so and it seems like that most if not all the members that are getting their front and rear shocks upgrade are armadas. i know that the Armada's and Qx's are mostly identical SUV's but why haven't any other Qx members replaced there shocks? I am getting some 24's coming within the next week or so tire size is 305/35's. I want to drop my QX using the SpringTech 2-2 drop as well upgrade the front shocks I cant chose between F4-BE5-B623-H0 or F4-BE5-D185-HO for the front shocks and what can i get as far as the rear auto level suspension goes?. I want to get the smoothest on road ride for i will probably never take my Qx off road. thanks for your patient guys and I apologize for starting up another thread about shocks again.

I'm in the same boat. I have a QX56 and will be installing the SpringTech 2-2 drop, with 26" rims.

So...which Bilstein model should I go with, the 5100 or the HD?...why? pros/cons.

You should only need the HDs. The 1500s are adjustable up. You want to lower.

Thanks, that makes sense. I have, however, seen some members comment of having malfunction (short lifespan) of their HD's, but haven't seen that regarding the 5100. Was wondering of the 5100 is more durable. ...At any rate, I'll just go ahead with the HD. Thanks!
