I have a 2007 Armada w/o the navigation system, JVC KW-NX7000BT. Double Din. Deck fits greats, fires up and everything works except for Sound is not pulling through, what i assume the bose amp. I have to crank it up to 50 before I can hear a little bit of whats playing. I have tried 2 different harness Mectra 70-7550 and 70-7551 with the RCA plugs. If i connect the factory deck back up the sound is back. Some sites say the wiring harness used is only for up to 06 Armada's Any advice is appreciated

I can't offer any advice but would like to know what you find out. I'm looking to upgrade to a double din with built in GPS, etc. Hopefully this is just a harness issue and all will workout.

Good luck and welcome

Thanks Blakspyda!!! @GSXRider1 everything works nicely as far as the GPS, Bluetooth etc. so, yes i am hoping this is just a harness issue. I would like to move pass this onto DVD and Flip screen project. also making plans to add a mac mini as well. Again thanks for any suggestions

I'll see if my installer knows anything. I have a double din Pioneer AVIC-Z110BT installed and everything works great!

I am missing something? But 206 views and not a clue? Is it time to put the Factory back in for 1 or 2 wires that i would think need to go to the amp.

You are gonna have to disconnect the Bose amp if you want to run it. I had to in my Altima and my Mustang's mach system. They sell this really expensive adapter but for me it wasnt worth it for the price and I heard from some people that they had problems. So I went back to my factory head unit and it has more than enough power to push a system. In my altima I used the factory Bose unit to push 3 12's and in my Armada im using the factory non-bose unit to push 2-12s just fine.

not knowing much about the wiring of the mada I couldnt tell you how to fix it, but I know for sure that the amp is not getting powered by the new deck.

Well Thanks all... I solved the problem. I have sound now and to all speakers and tweeters. Stay tuned for Pictures.. Problem is with the Wire Harness for the Bose does not match up to the wiring once connected; very weird... but Bluetooth, GPS, DVD, etc all works smoothly.. JVC and Armada make a great combo...
