Hey all,
My wife and I have been shopping for an armada and came across the 2010s.
They are very nice and also noticed they are offering 0% financing.
I was just wondering what kind of deals people are getting since the 0% financing offer came out.
Thanks.:)

If you don't get the 0% financing, you can get a $4500 rebate. Most dealers are discounting to invoice or even below, so expect about $9000 to $10000 off of window sticker, without the special financing.

The only thing is the 0% is in lieu of the 4,000 rebate. Many banks and credit unions are offering very low rates that might be more beneficial than going with the 0% for 60 months. For example, Pentagon Federal is 3.9% for 60 months, 4.75% for 72 months. Alliant Credit Union is 3.85% for 60 or 72 months, and 4.85 for 84 months. Capital One Bank is running 48 or 60 months at 3.41% and 66 or 72 months at 4.31%. If you have excellent credit, I think going with one of the above or another bank with similar rates will be much better than taking the 0% in lieu of the 4,000 rebate. Also, for some reason you decide to trade the vehicle in before the term of the loan is up or payoff before the term is complete, then the 0% was for no reason whereas the 4,000 comes right off the top.
Just my thoughts. I should finalize my purchase of a 2010 tomorrow.

The best Nissan could do for us is 1.9% for 60 months OR a $4500 rebate. We took the rebate and got 2.56% through Capital One.

I just bought a 2010 Platinum Edition and decided to take the $4500 off. I was debating about waiting until September 1st, maybe the $4500 might go to $5500? I think my deal was decent, but who knows. After the rebate, the Armada cost me $43,000.

I bought my Armada SE 010 last year and got the rebate plus the 4.3% below invoice - VPP rate. 4% interest from the bank with no money down. Out the door price was $35,000.00. Definitely, I will go with the rebate plus low interest rate. Goodluck on your shopping with the New Armada.

That's pretty impressive considering dealer holdback is 2% of invoice. Are you sure that was invoice and not MSRP, just currious?

If you should take the rebate or the interest rate is solved by simple math for your situation. With the amount of money you put down, best interest rate that is not 0% etc should tell you the total cost of your loan ove the time of the loan. If it is more than the $4,500 (count the $4,500 in your math when you compare) then take the interest rate.
Personally I took the $4,500 two years ago and it was easily the right decision FOR ME IN MY SITUATION.
