I'm getting ready to take my Armada in for the fuel guage and brake pin recall. I have the gold pref. warranty so will the rental car be covered in this case?

Yes, they do provide one for recall work.... The only time that one is not covered is for maintenance or a repair that's not covered under the warranty.

And when they offer you the Hyundai Elantra or Chevy Aveo, tell them that isn't acceptable and you want something bigger / better. Has always worked for us, the last time we needed a rental for a covered repair, my wife got a brand new Suburban.

Good point. I'm almost 7 ft tall so the Aveo better have a sunroof!!!!!!
