My insurance company said that a good glass company can do the job, and gave me a couple of names. Are there any sensors that are mounted on the glass that would make this a tricky job for a glass company? Thanks Ken drcookie 08-01-2005, 08:14 PM When you said "ding", I assumed you have a "crack" somewhere in the middle of the windshield (not at the edge). If the crack is the size of a quater or smaller, it can be easily "patched". It should only cost $50-$75 to fix it. The actual center where the rock hit is small, but the six arms (star shaped) radiate out quite a ways. It is in the center at eye level for the passenger. Ken | ||
