: My Truck pics II
shaft2k 08-07-2005, 12:30 PM OK, here are the exterior shots: spoiler from Burtmans, $250 painted shipped (best deal around, simple install), new wheels free!!, I went to Americas tire to have my wheels rotated. One of the guys tightened my center cap too much and it broke off. My wheels were Daat D62, they dont make these anymore sooooooo........the mgr of the shop let me pick a new set of wheels to replace for free. I chose these because I like the deep lip.
Oh, I have the new brake fix.............much better than before. Stopping distances are improved and the amt of brake dust is easily cut by 70-80%.
Rumplecat 08-07-2005, 12:45 PM Sweet Ride and You can never beat free Especially for those wheels!

Very nice Dude!! What Flowmasters did you get and how would you describe the loudness?
ockevin 08-08-2005, 01:04 AM Looks great. I like the color, dont see to many. The rims look great and match the Mada. Do you have any pics of the headrests and interior mods ?
Keep up the good work.
92TripleBlack 08-08-2005, 01:33 AM Looks good. Love the exhaust. Which model Flowmaster is it?
One of the best looking I've seen. Love the wheels and dual exhaust.
masterwong 08-08-2005, 04:52 AM What type of headrest and visor monitors did you get?
shaft2k 08-08-2005, 03:08 PM Thanks for the comments
I've been asked before about the flows but I dont know the exact model. I will stop by where I got it and find out. The sound is what everyone always comments on, it is a nice mean growl (not too loud but you do announce your presence) on acceleration and starting the engine only. When idling the sound is barely aboove stock. I love the setup. I feel the extra power from the exhaust and intake when I press on it (getting on freeway, passing someone, going up a hill).
Headrest monitors are in the interior shots on another post (my truck pics I)
The monitors are pixelon
I got this color because I didnt see too many. My other car is black and there is no way I would get a truck this big in black (way too hard to keep clean). I found out recently that Sedona was only an option for 04 so I guess I got my wish.
I would bet its a 70 series muffler. Nice and rumbly when you get on it but just purrrrs when you are cruising at highway speeds. I have a 50 series and I really like it. I like a little louder exhaust. Just wasn't brave enough to go for the 40 series.
By the way that wing really looks good. I had heard guys talking about them but I think its the first picture I have actually seen with one. Looks really good and $250 sounds great painted and shipped. Burtmanidustries has some great stuff don't they.
M4ck
shaft2k 08-08-2005, 03:30 PM Thats it!!! it is a 70 series,m4ck jogged my memory and described exactly. When I was getting it, the guy asked how I liked my exhaust. He said he had a 70, 50, and a 40. When I gave him the sound I wanted, he knew which one I wanted. I love it. Thx m4ck, you saved me a trip!!!!
NISMO 08-09-2005, 01:21 AM shaft2k where did you get the 22" logo and the DUB logo? where can i buy them? by the way NICE ARMADA!!! :D

shaft2k 08-10-2005, 01:51 AM Nismo,
I would check ebay as well as what inqui-z-tor offered. Be careful on ebay, there are some that are selling cheap variants that wont last or look as good.
inqui-Z-tor 08-10-2005, 02:52 AM I believe bootyologist24 got his 22" emblems via the dubshop link.
LOL .. I just googled and found the other link ...
HAMMER 08-10-2005, 07:59 PM The truck looks great how did you insert the armada logo on the third light up top?   ON THE REAR PICTURE

Check ebay
shaft2k 08-11-2005, 04:00 PM The third light sticker/cover is from ebay, only $5-6 bucks.
Casinojames,
thx, I have spent some time on getting the truck custom but not too over the top. I got the exhaust/tips installed and everything through a hookup (one of my emps relatives owns a muffler shop), I only paid $325.
Thx everyone for the comments, this forum has been a big help on getting the truck to look the way I wanted. Some very knowledgeable people are on this board.
inqui-Z-tor 08-11-2005, 04:18 PM $7.50 ... not including shipping .. $2.50 LOL
search ebay for custombrakelights (seller) or
Nissan Armada 3rd Brake Light

Did you have to remove your spare tire in order to get the dual exhuast placed in correctly? please advise, I'm looking into that but the spare tire seems to be a little problem, like it's the way?

man whatever you do, don't let them take your tire off to dual out your exhaust. that's asking for trouble. i dualed out my isuzu rodeo i had the spare tire on back, the same time a dude was getting his dualled but his tire was underneath. they took his tire off and did the work. but ran into major problems when putting it back on (fit rattles...etc) they ended up making the pipe too close to the tire so he had to put it in his truck cabin so the heat wouldn't blow it. not a price i'm willing to pay for duals.
shaft2k 08-16-2005, 04:19 PM Yes the spare is VERY close to the dual pipe. I would suggest going to a shop that is experienced and can handle it because it is pretty custom. The shop I went to took their time doing it and it came out fine. To combat the pipe heating and blowing the spare, they wrapped it so the heat wouldnt transfer to the spare. I've had it for over a year and have had no problems with it.

Do you have any pictures of the bottom of your Armada so that I may see how & which way they installed it? If it's not too much to ask of you?
shaft2k 08-17-2005, 04:12 PM rickrod,
I dont have any pics, I'll have to take some. It might take me a couple of days, depending on when I get home from work (before dark). I'll post when I take them...
