Ok i have the '04 Pathfinder/Armada and i want to remove the Pathfinder Chrome Decal from the rear.Just wanted some ideas on safe ways to remove it.I was thinking of using a heat gun and a plastic putty knife.Is that a safe way?And if that is the best way what chemical do i use to remove the leftover glue off the paint.Thanks in Advance.

The heat gun will be great. I just used dental floss to get off the emblem.

Fishing line or dental floss as mentioned will do. To remove any residue leftover from the adhesive, goo-gone works best.

get your girl friends hair dryer. if you are patient and dont rush, the glue will come off right along with the emblem. thats how i did it. if you have 3 arms thats better.. one can hold the hair dryer to the plastic and the other two can pull up on the emblems applying even consistent pressure...
