Hello to all of you! i want to add a subwoofer under the driver seat and rear of the car and an amplifier with 1 pair of round speakers to my none bose system. I have the 2006 - SE regular head unit and sound system. Can this be done using the original HU? Please experts let me know. I like to do thing on my own with your help. As you know the LE has the bose system and it comes with the subwoofer under the driver seat. Thanks

Yes it can be done, and it's not to difficult. Just swap out the speakers with what ever you choose. Split off of the rear speakers into a line out converter to an amp and sub. You'll need speaker plates or adapters for the front, as they are 6x9's, but most 6-1/2" will fit right into the rear.
One of the after market subs like a bazooka bass tube or infiniti bass link is an easy way to add base to your system without having to add an additional amp and will just tie into the exsisting system. That way you can just upgrade you speakers and you'll be good to go. Or you can hog wild and pig crazy like I did!!

Do i need other kind of accessories? Please let me know or any body else. I know i will put the bazzoka in the cargo area behind last rear seat and run the wires to where? I already have the bazooka base tuve and i just want first do "add" the bazooka base tube to my exisiting none bose system. If you have a powered bazooka tube, here's the install manual, you should only have to splice in the rear speakers:

my guess is, your Bazooka isn't powered, so you'll need a line out converter from the rear speakers to an amplifier, then to the tube.

9ballrock thanks for helping me with this issue - per your last post i do need to get a couple of accessories in order to make this possible. These accessories are as follow:
1) Line our Converter from the rear speakers
2) An amplifier
3) Wires
4) Installation instructions.
Any advice on what kind of accessories?
what are these accessories?
what kind of converter?
what kind of amplifier?
Please keep helping me with this issue. I don't want to install a new sound system. I just want to add on to my existing system.

install instructions will come with the converter, and a 300 watt amp should be fine with a bass tube.

Hello Armada brother thanks for replying back. I order the Scosche Loc-80 - car stereo speaker level converter. I still have questions 9ballrock and all of you armada brothers. the LOC-80 has four cables for input:
gray + right side
gray/Black - right side
white + left side
white/black - left side
300 Watts amplifier - What kind or brand of amplifier do you recomend for this?
The instructions said to connect these four (4) cables to Head unit/Radio. The question is how should i connect these wires to the Head Unit Stereo or to which speakers? See attached diagram.
