I have 2008, I heard a little noise sometimes when I turn but it's not often but still hear it everyday. Anyone got the same issue like mine.

I've got the same problem. My drive to/from work is a straight shot, but there are a few turns where the whining from the front wheels get loud. It's been that way for the past few weeks. I just assumed it was the power steering.

I hope its not the power steering, as the replacement parts can be pricey ($939 for the gear & linkage, or $329 for the pump). That's obviously before labor/install. I've got no leaks on the PS, and the fluid is within normal range.

To anyone else 'in the know': is this something I should be taking it to the shop for, or can I live with the whine for a while until cash is built up to fix it?
