Has anyone tried these? They are showing a stright light line across the top and I didn't think any of the after-market projectors did.

They are the only ones that will even show a light pattern. I would like to see the backs.

Yeah, and chances are if they are normal flatline cutoffs like FX-Rs etc then you wouldn't be shining off of the house windows that sit up 4 feet higher than the street. There should be a distinct light area and then a dark area lower down by where the tops of those car's trunk lids are. Snizzle is correct. Those pics are a posting from someone's HID pics here on CA.

Looks like I will have to make my own at some point.

Not only are those NOT the actual pics of the output, but you can easily see they have the lows, highs, and possibly the fogs all lit up at the same time.

Trust me, there is a reason why the manufacturers of these aftermarket halo/ccfl/led/projector headlights don't provide pictures of the output, or lack off. Because there is no improvement over OEM with these headlights.

I am going for adding the projectors to the OEM lights with some matching paint at some point. Thats an expensive mod.

Roller11- the OEM, or OEM modded projectors are primarily the costly parts in a retrofit. But since you have plug-n-play HIDs already, you can actually use the ballasts to work with D2S HID bulbs. There is a conversion harness that will allow you to go from amp connectors--->D2S, about $20.

The hard part is obviously fitting the projectors; as I said before, I had the opportunity to buy my headlights retrofiited already. But I had to open them up when I noticed one of the headlights started developing moisture inside. I used acetone to clean, remove all the old glue and residue off the lens and housing. Then I layed a couple bags (4-5) of sillicant gel throughout the headlight to help dry up any unwanted moisture. To reseal them, I used Nissan's butyl sealant and was off and running by lunch.

Upon inspection, and comparing these to past retrofits I've done before, the armada headlights are the easiest because of their size. There is plenty of room to fit any OEM quality projector.

FX-R's are only about $110 a pair so you are only out that. They can be had with Bulbs and connector adapters for only a little over that. There's definitely some time in getting it right though as Primo has mentioned.

Oh Primo, I have a new 9005 2W with a new focus lens coming your way. My shipment gets in Friday so be on the lookout! LOL.

Just send the invoice as usual and look forward to those too :D

Btw, this was some good news to hear because I just got off the phone with my ortho surgeon and I'll be going under the knife for tearing up my Left ACL, and partial tears on the MCL and LCL respectively. Ironic because as a physical therapist practicing in orthopedics and sports medicine, I work with patients with injuries specifically as these.. I'm getting old :(

Sweet I might have some questions for you if my knee keeps acting up. LOL. Hope all goes well. At least you'll be healing in the cold nasty months and not laid up during the summer!

I have been looking for the DIY post but it looks like all of them have expired. Anyone know how to get a copy? Can we make this a sticky Pops?

I didn't search but did you adjust the Display Options under the Threads shown in the DIY forum? I show there are 8 pages of 159 threads. I lost the De Badging thread I did a long time ago and that is how I dug it up. Just select the Show From "Beginning" setting. If it is in there it will pop up. Good Luck.
