Ok here's a new one, changed my battery in my 04 Armada and the vdc,abs dash lights came on, brake pads are good, just replaced them approx 1 month ago, all fluid levels are good, just replaced battery and now lights on and stay on, any resets or something I need to be done, perhaps getting it "flashed" or whatever? Should I check any fuses also and which ones?

OK, took battery cables off for about 30 minutes and put back on, still getting vdc,abs and now slip lights on when I start it up, anything else I should maybe look at? Thanks for your suggestion also.

First check your brake fluid, then check your brake pads.
If neither are low or worn, you may need your brake control mudule (BCM) reset or you may need a new brake booster.

Experienced the same problem few months back on our '04 SE OR at around 60k miles..Same situation occurred after changing battery.... dash lights on AND the speedometer stopped working...
Took her to Nissan..and then to a private shop who employs a former Nissan tech.... confirmed the brake module had a short....after $1900.00 and four days in the shop, problem solved...FYI-Nissan had to flash the ECM and AB control separately..About one week later the lights came on again, drove straight to Nissan..They re-flashed N/C....Good luck...

OK, I'll check that out, first though have to get my home back in 1 piece, 4 tornadoes hit my area where I live here in AZ, 1 missed my house by about 80 yards, torn up the house, no one hurt, family all got into inside bathroom with mattresses and the dog, my Armada had 1 window completely shattered, all glass inside of the truck, not one bit left around the window seal, will have to take a few days off and get things lined up before I can get back to it, will check back later, Wayne in AZ.
