Hey All,
I'm trying to find a tow hitch for the front of my armada, but haven't had much luck. Does anyone know where I might be able to find a front tow hitch reciever for an 08' armada?

Napa (http://www.napaonline.com) has a couple universal ones available. Part numbers are: BK 817-2001 & BK 809-1548. They sell for around $200.
Good Luck!

Those are actually both Tow Bars, not a Hitch Receiver.... ;)
The only front hitch receiver I've found is made by Curt for the Titan... I ordered one from Amazon for $78 shipped and the front most bolt holes were about 1/4" off. I had the option of sending it back for a replacement hitch in case it was just a defect but I decided to get a full refund instead.
The front most hole that were off are threaded inside our frame... If you run into the same problem I did, you might possibly be able to drill them out and use the bracket things they send in their place.. For me, I wanted to keep my grille guard so I didn't want to dork around with those too much..
I could've ordered a replacement hitch then done what it took to make it work if the same problem persisted, but it just wasn't worth all that hassle to me. But with enough determination I think it can be made to work, just don't expect it to be an easy install like it "should" be.... Also keep in mind that our frame is very solid and extremely tough to drill on.. I broke 2 carbide bits and went through 4 cordless drill batteries just widening out the rear most holes, it's friggin' solid.

They don't have one for the 08 you are going to have to cut in to the front bumper to get it to fit

Maybe I misunderstood the request.
Are you wanting to dingy tow your Mada (then what I suggested earlier would be what you want) or do you want have a receiver on the front for something like a bike carrier?
You could always contact Reese or Valley to see if they could custom make you a receiver. I hope you have deep pockets if you go that route! Another option is that you can buy the individual pieces (receiver tube etc...) and have a local welding/fabrication shop make you a custom one. Here in Northern Indiana there are plenty of Amish run fab shops that do that kind of thing all the time.

Why is that, which part is different, the lip spoiler maybe???

I had to re-read the OP a few times to make sure too. :D The Curt Front Hitch Receiver for the Titan would actually weld on very nicely if someone wanted to go that route. :)

08-11 Armada is a one pice front bumper with the spoiler. The only way to install it would be to cut up the front spoiler. If you want to do it then you can install any hitch you want.

Thanks for all the info guys. I'll look into the Titan hitch. I work on industrial machinery for a living so I'm pretty used to things not fitting right. The purpose would be to have a reciever to put my winch in. If all else fails I can make my own, but i'd prefer to have one made by a hitch company since i'll be using it to winch. Anyhow, thanks for the info!

A few years back I was looking for the same thing. I have an 04 and a front hitch would have worked fine for me. Due to time for my move plus some other issues I never got it. Anyway, here are the links that may be a good place to start.

There was a guy actually selling them on ebay, item has been removed but here is the link anyway.

Evan, I really think you'll need to at least tack weld it for winching. The bolts and bolt carriers just didn't look strong enough for that to me.. The Curt is a very solid hitch though especially if properly attached.
Top Gun Customz recently had a sale available to TitanTalk members on a really nice Winch Ready Replacement Bumper. Also, Kennasaw Mountain and ARB make Winch Ready Replacement Bumpers and there's a company in Florida that makes a Winch Ready Grille Guard. Several Titan owners have them and love 'em.
