I just bought my first Armada and can't get enough of it. I have spent the last couple days reading through all of your posts, and its pretty over whelming.
My Mada is a 2007 LE with 65k miles and I was wondering if there is any routine maintenance I should take care of? I do plan to keep it for a long time. I do not have any records so I have no clue what has been done previously..
Thanks for your help!

Since you have no records, I would drain and refill the transmission (do not flush), change the engine oil and filter, change the fluids in the differentials and transfer case (if 4WD), check the fluid levels in the brakes and power steering, check brake pads and rotors for wear and inspect all tires and air to 35 PSI. Don't forget the spare. Check to see that all lights are working properly, check the level of antifreeze in the coolant and replace if necessary. Check air filter and replace if necessary. Check all hoses and lines for leaks. The spring type clamps don't hold well, especially on the transmission cooler lines. Replace them with good SS worm screw type clamps. If you can, put the vehicle on a lift and inspect the exhaust system, especially the tail pipe just behind the muffler. That area is subject to corrosion.
I'm sure there are other things that I am overlooking at this time.

Me too. Good list. Can we make this a sticky under maintenance? or at least a list like this?

...and don't forget to wash, wax and buff the paint. Check for nicks and repair any found. Detail the interior, clean the mirrors and glass inside the vehicle. Replace the in-cabin air filter... :)
Oh, and welcome to the board!

Thanks everyone, I will probably be in here a lot because my experience is so limited, but I do enjoy doing the work. I already have a few ideas for my first couple mods. Say, do you have to be a premium member for the posts to be sorted by your Mada's generation?
Yup I've been a hockey guy since u was 5, Hawks fan!

Still playing? I played til I was about 30, then switched to refereeing for the last 25 years, had to hang them up this year 4 knee surgerys over the years, and the 5th one coming this spring.

Yeah I am still playing, but I am getting ready to hang them up for a second time. Aside from my back, my body is holding up, it's more the late games that are catching up with me. I was supposed to play college but hung them up (biggest life regret), then started playing again in mens leagues 9 years later.

mens leagues were my favorite to ref. Skate around call a few penalties (if needed) an off side or 2 then drink beer!! No need to think like college, juniors or pros where you had to be on sharp all the time. we put a referees team together a few years ago and were the most hated group out there. Funniest part was tring to find refs to do the games, usually rookie guys, what a hoot!
