It's unreal what a set of Blizzak tires and no running boards can do:) I never got stuck even when I was pushing snow up to my hood!

With only the stock tires, I braved the storm in the Chicago area to deliver pain meds to my Dad, who was just diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer. My parents garage was alread snowed in with a 3 foot drift, and only cars to drive. I am thankful for the Armada to live up to my expectations, and pulled through when I needed it most. In a 2 1/2 hour round trip at the height of the storm, I drove ~30 miles round trip. 4H all the way - dodged abandoned cars, tanker trucks, snow plows, police cars. Stopped multiple times for the whiteouts. Ended up in a ditch as I lost my bearings, but the Armada pulled right out of it. Stopped at a gas station to clear up the ice from the wipers. Also stopped to push a lady off of train tracks - she ran into the ballast at a railroad crossing, off the road. Though my wife feared for me going out in the storm as she didn't think the Armada and I could handle it, I am truly impressed and will be forever sticking with my Armada, and the powers that be watching over me.

Glad you made it safe Wallykski! The Armada is hands down the best 4X4 I have ever owned.

The blizzaks are great for stopping on the ice too! good idea taking the boards off... I was thinking about doing that today after spraying off the big chunks of salty ice that was all built up in there.

Nice pics.
