Ok, is Nissan intentionally trying to make ordering parts as complicated as it is? I want to order the OEM Console DVD insert for my aftermarket DVD install. Looking at Pops' information, the part number should be 96930-7S100. Looking online on the parts diagram, it's listed as 96930MA, of which there are two options:

**930-7S010 2006.08-2007.04 *W. SE $72.65

96930MA FINISHER-CONSOLE BOX
**939-ZQ01A 2007.04-2008.04 *W. SE $12.52

First, huge price difference, so they must be different parts. Then, the console box itself is a different part number than what Pops has posted. That could be the diff in years. Mine is a 2008 SE.

But I've found that if I search different ways, and get to the parts diagrams through various means, the numbers are different as are the prices. Heck, I put in the VIN of an 08 Armada LE with DVD and the console box is listed (96930MA) as being $252!

These are just a couple of examples too. I've found others that confused me. What the heck is going on, and how the heck do you order the right Nissan parts?

Any help is greatly appreciated. Maybe I shouldn't bother, since the new M&D DVD players are 1/2 DIN, so I'll have a big gap to fill anyway...

But the part numbers you quoted are what I posted, not what Pops listed in his thread. Which did you order, and was it correct? And do you have an 08?

Steve, I had to spend quite awhile at the local Parts Counter to get the right part numbers for mine.... You might be better off doing the same thing.... You at least have a ballpark range of prices to start with which is more than I had, so you can always write them down and price shop them then call the local Parts Manager to ask if they can sell them for so-so price...

I may have to do that. They make it fairly confusing!

Ok, part of my problem was how I was reading the parts diagram...the same console box is used in the front console as the second row console, if you have it. That was part of my confusion. So I've figured one thing out. But I was at the dealer today, and asked him to look it up. He told me it was 96930-7S000. I'm pretty sure he screwed up and that's what I have now, the non DVD console.

So it's between 96930-7S010 or 95930-7S100. Is there no better way to get more detailed descriptions online, like something that says "console with DVD?"

Or is there anyone with an 08, that bought the console insert that can confirm the part number?
