you have to look for projector lights that say from year 2008-2011. The 2004-2006 wont work as the new headlights have a different shape to them

oh ok. thanks skullcandy but i think ima stick to OEM headlights and put 55w hid kit in there.

I'm not a fan of those 55w kits but if you decide on installing them, wire them up with a relayed wiring harness. The high wattage has the potential of burning out the OEM wiring harness along with damaging the interior housing of the headlights.

It has the potential to do so. I've seen it happen in other vehicles, more so the melting of the OEM pigtails/harness. Its too much wattage for running/driving lights; again, if you want to use them, a relayed wiring harness is a smart investment.

Considering the armadas have reflector headlights as opposed to projectors(and I'm not talking about those hideous aftermarket projector headlights), you can only do so much to improve lighting.

Even with a 55w hid kit, all you're really doing is increasing the amount of glare that will be given off from the hid kit.

oh ok bcuz i thought that if i go with 55w i will get more light output. I will stick with 35w 6k then bcuz i dont want to take chances with melting the housing. Will a 35w damage the foglight housing and do you know what the foglight # is? Thanks so much for your help man. i appreciate it

Hi ya. I'm more interested in those hideous after market projectors for my HID kit. I've either lost my touch with Google, or there aren't any available for the 2010~2011 Armada's yet. Does anyone here have the inside scoop on when they'll be more readily available?

Hi Drauden, thanks for the welcome. And thanks Armadadd for the retrofit idea. I'm more intersted in a rather riced out, black housing with the projector lense. I've got more patience than I do fabrication skills. I'll just chill until some are manufactured. :)
