Hey Guys, Just wanted to put up some pictures of some of my latest mods. I put on my Xdrilled & slotted R1 rotors, painted my calipers with High Heat paint & while I was at it, decided to paint my engine crowl....

Yes it is Orange, or what VHT calls "Burnt Copper". I got it from my local auto parts store. It is actually for manifolds & exhaust, the heat rating is around 650F I think, where as the Caliper paint is around 300F. All the other additives looked about the same, had some ceramix in it. Its one of the flame resistant/proof paints. Its not just a flat orange, it actually has some metallic flake & kind of color changes in the light. I figured while I was at the R1 rotor & pad swap, might as well take the time for a "quick" caliper spray. I have to admit, when I painted the engine crowl, I was a little nervous about how it looked. I was like that is way too much orange, it looked like crap, just real flashy I guess, but once I got it in the engine bay, it was the perfect amount of orange for the contrast.
