I purchased my armada w/out the hitch, and now I am wondering what type of hitch should I buy is it classIII or IV, my 05 armada is an SE 2wd. I will not be towing any thing heavy but I would like to Maximise the towing ability of the Armada Just in case I have to tow something heavy in the future. :clueless:

I took it to the dealer yesterday because the radio reception is very bad on both AM and FM, so they ordered a new radio with CD changer to see if this will solve the problem. and the windoow switch on the driver side does not Illuminate at night so they Changed the whole switch.

I installed the front splash guards of the infinity qx56, Fog lights, DVD w/2 7" tft lcd headrest monitors, swaped my galaxy upper grill with a chrome grill from a guy with a Titan truck who wanted my Galaxy black grill and Custom made Dash cover. and More Mod is on the way.

thanks for your help and advise

If I can recall correctly, you can get the Class III hitch and always upgrade to the class IV later. The class III is good for somewhere around 7,000 pounds. How much do you plan on towing?

at the present time, may be not more than a couple of jetskis and a boat ( small) But in the future I do not want to end buying another tow hitch if I am going to tow something mote than 7,000 LB.the upgrade you are talking about is it like purchasing another hitch? or do I have to do something to my Armada to accomodate more Pounds like 9100LB?
thanks

Look at the hitch online. The class IV is a tongue that fits into the hitch and replaces the class 3 tongue and ball. It isn't the large piece that fits onto the bottom of the truck. I'd get one from Uhaul. ;)

thanks for the clarification 3blk, at least I only have to buy the class III hitch, and if i want to upgrade to IV , just buy the tongue from u-haul
thaks again

The Nissan hitch is not that bad of a deal

I think the Nissan hitch is the best deal. With any hitch you will need at one of the relays, two if you plan to run a 12 volt source to the trailer. You will also need the harness and socket for the trailer electrics. All this is included in the Nissan hitch, and everything plugs in, no wire splices, and everything fits. You can get a good deal on the factory hitch by contacting our sponsers.
