: Rooftop Spoiler add-on to help with towing?

I have a TT that I tow with my mada. Gass mileage sucks while towing (7-8 MPG) and I was wondering where I could find a rooftop spoiler (I think that is what it's called) to help get better aerodynamics, and in turn maybe better gas mileage. I have seen SUV's on the road with these, but am unable to locate any.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Looks like I'm not looking for a spoiler. What I am looking for is almost like a wedge to deflect the airflow to make like I am not towing a brick.

Please let me know what I am looking for.

Thanks

your main problem is the giant brick you drive....no "aerodynamics" will help your gas milegae while towing

At a minimum it will allow for less "drag" which will improve the overall ride. In theory less drag (wind resistance) = Better mileage/performance. Please note that I'm note looking for a miracle improvement in mileage, but an increase of 1-2 MPG should be achieveable.

I don't believe everything that I read...but there are other people that believe this can help:

Thanks for any and all input...

ok.. i see what you are talking about, i thought you were looking for a miracle wing and all i could think of was that big non-aerodynamic nose on the 'mada ..... ive seen the spoilers/wings like the one shown in the 2nd link, but i dont think those are effective unless you are towing something bigger than the truck/suv itself...plus it seems that a spoiler like that would be more hassle than its worth if you didnt want to drive around with it all the time.....i say wait and trade in for the new Diesel Armada ;)

Well I think I qualify under the category of towing something bigger than the mada itself:

SWEET BABY JESUS!!! you would need a spoiler about 10 feet tall to help with that!!!

7-8 MPG is pretty damn good when you are pulling Texas

Have you tried a Peterbuilt dealer? They would have those wind deflectors :)
