Been a while since my first post, I got really busy at work and some political issues came up i didn't agree with and my supervisor is a Cant Understand Normal Thinking type of person so i had to find a new job. Took this week off and finally did something besides working! 6000k lows, 4000k fogs. I was worried that it would look like the stereotype ricers, but its what the wife wanted. Still gotta get to the muffler shop, tint shop, and shop for some wheels. The pics do NO justice for the fogs, but they are nice. Used two different kits and I have to say that I like the ones from vvme.com so much better. The mounting bracket alone is the best part.

Been a bit, but just wanted to give an update; the fogs have an incredible issue with starting when its cold, not as bad as the headlights, but it aggravating. An idle time of about five minutes takes care of it though.

I do have an issue though, the switch to do the interior light on "auto, on, off" in between the two map lights above the rear view mirror is missing. I guess I never noticed it till now! The dealer said I would have to buy the entire console, which I know is not true. Any info on the part number for this switch?

I also ordered my LEDs for the mirrors, and doors. They should be here Friday, I will post pictures of them before, during, and after installation.

What are the symptoms of the cold weather startup? There generally should not be any issues. Startup or warm up phase should be maybe 8-10 seconds. Any longer at less than optimal temp could decrease the life span of the bulb. Think of it like a sputtering engine that is not firing correctly. Have a good one.

Whenever it is below, roughly, 30 degrees the driver side won't illuminate. I just turn them off and back on again. I will try swapping ballast tomorrow, then bulbs if the ballast swap doesn't fix it.

Your bulbs are fine. The ballast is faulty. Go back to the seller and have them replace it under warranty. Ballasts are good waay down in the negative temps. If it isn't firing then it has issues. Thanks

armaden - Im contacting the company right now about the ballast.
audioxclusive - i thought about the 6k fogs, but at the time the 4k was $15 cheaper, so i went with it. I guess im just getting lazy and leave the lights in auto, maybe im just getting old. Oh well, its the wife's car anyway.

How's the glare with them? Do you get anyone flashing you thinking your brights are on?

They are bright, occasionally on back roads people flash me. I did lower them some though, they are level with most trunks now. My wife followed me home one night after I lowered my mustang and they did glare off my mirror, I just flipped the lever and all was good. This is my fifth vehicle I've put them in and I will never ever go back to standard halogens.
