I'm considering putting the Infinity Chrome Body Side Moulding on my Armada.
It looks like it would be a direct replacement and it would add to the smoke color.
Have any of you done this?

Have you come up with any pricing? This would be a great mod for darker colors, I think.

No, I haven't looked into it close enough to find out about price and part numbers. I just saw one drive-by and thought it would look sharp with the Infinity chrome. I was just wondering if anyone had done it yet.
I'd also like to find a chrome shifter gate to replace the plastic one we have. I think the Infinity might have one of those as well. I think it would look sharp along with some wood trim. It would make it look like an actual 40K interior.

O_o, they really want their cash for OEM "upgrades." Black works fine for me.

WOW!!!
I'll bet it's not just regular old plastic compound with a chrome film;
It must be some type of High Performance Titanium based, Kevlar coated, Armor plated, Zoot Suited, Sterling Silver triple polished side moulding firmly held in place by Viagra brand double sided tape for sex appeal. Yep, that's it.

I think the folks at Nissan need to pull their collective heads out of their full point of contact and re-think some of their prices. I'm with you, I'm keeping what I have. At least until I can't stand it and have to have the chrome. :D
llajumpvid- Thanks for digging up the prices.

Does anyone know if it's held on with the double sided tape or is it snapped on?

I'm debating. I hope it isn't tape, because mine tends to let water leak through it. Or maybe they went cheap and did sectional tape pieces or something?
sounds like u have a nice ride
any photos?

Is buying the Infiniti moulding the only option for adding the chrome? I have a black SE and I think it would look pretty good.

I called the infiniti dealer and had the nissan dealer call and check for me as well. the infifniti dealer told me it would be about a grand for all four doors and he said that they would not fit beacuase there is a groove on the infinit door. the nissan dealer told me that they would be about $750 and that the infiniti guys told him that only one person had tried it and they returned them because they would not fit. And I believe they are held on by the 3M super tape.

I've been trying to find chrome moulding too. I think the only option is to have the original parts chromed with one of many processes. (i.e. some form of plating or a film covering). I have a couple inquiries about chrome plating to a couple of companies. Hope it isn't too expensive. Will let you know.

This stuff is priced as a repair part, not accessory for Armada. This is why they charge so much. The vast majority will be sold to Infiniti guys who got side swiped. This is an easy way to make money for them. ;)
