EDIT
I will now be using this thread to update anything i do to the Mada. Figured just put it all on one thread than make a new one everytime.

So i finally did the grill mod today but instead of using the expanded metal i found this clover pattern aluminum sheet. What do you guys think? i was thinking about painting it white but kinda like the shiny look.

Thanks Junior714, It was really simple and didn't take that long. the only thing is that the aluminum is a little flimsy so if it doesn't last i will switch it out for the expanded metal

That turned out real nice opm! I want to do just that to my White Horse. I will probably rhino line mine to make it a little stiffer. Where did you get the material?

Very nice. I would do this, but I fear the salt will kill the look after a winter.

Also, I saw you signature, are you really getting 16.2 MPG on your Armada? That is awesome you must do a lot of highway driving.

Thanks, it was very inexpensive so I figured it would be ok if it gets messed up. as far as the mpg, The Mada is mainly used on the weekends and mainly highway. My civic is the daily driver.

I am thinking about either spraying a coat of clear or painting it white but I don't know if it will look too riced out

Does the kit come with a matching grill for the bottom as well? That would look really nice!

I was thinking about doing the bottom piece but the aluminum sheet is not wide enough, might have to come up with a way to combine it with out seeing the seams. Its not a kit there is a how to on doing it with stuff from lowes or home depot.

Next you need to pick up some white plasti dip and do the running boards and wheels. Then you can go with Snowmaggeden

AngelVivas

Can someone say "STORMTROOPER". That looks like something out of Star Wars.

Looks Awesome man! Good work.

Thanks guys. I'm going to the the mirrors and mud guards with the plasti dip but I dunno about the wheels. Probably do the cowl as well, eventually.

Try one wheel and see how it looks. You can do it while you do the others. I tried a bunch of options first. Only cost be $6 for the can and if I didn't like it I just peeled it off.

Hey opm, can you give a quick walk through on your grill mod?

Once you remove the grill did you remove the black stock grill insert or did you trim the metal to fit like a bolt on?

A quick tutorial would be appreciated..
