Sorry if this question has already been answered but I didn't see it in my searches.

I own a 2004 Armada SE and I love it. But I don't have the navigation system option. In the manual there are many settings you can change via the nav system menus. I mean non-nav settings like the honking of the horn when locking via the remote, etc.

Are these options available to those without the nav system? I'm sure there is some way to change these options, just wondering if anyone knows how.

There was thread on this back in this forums infancy. I believe the Armada had to be taken in to the dealer and the service department could change settings through the ECM.

You can change whether your horn honks with the key fob. Just hold down the lock button for a few seconds until the lights flash (if I remember correctly). This will toggle the horn alert off/on.

Hold down both the lock and unlock buttons until the parking lights flash.
