This from another forum:

"Titan brake rotor problem is caused by the original pad compound
causing problem with the rotors. This has been fixed. Titan brakes
are very good performance wise."

Has anyone heard that Nissan may actually have a fix for the brake Problem?

I should have read a little further before I posted. Another quote from the same forum:

"I vote for the Titan,brakes are a non issue because Nissan has fixed the problem with the Bosch brakes."

I noticed I had Bosch brakes on my Armada. I wonder if that means I will not have a brake problem. 2200 miles and no complaints.

I had my brakes replaced and rotors R/R'd, it's been a couple thousand miles and I haven't noticed any squeaking or poor performance anymore. Don't want to get my hopes up, but it seems that the fix works.. I do have a very very slight slow pulsation while braking at low speeds (<10 MPH). Don't know much about brakes, might just be being overly sensative :-)

I had the 1st brake TSB done at 7k miles, and then again recently. The latest one has shown an increase in brake "feel" and so far, so good. I've read about rumors of new rotors, calipers, etc. that are supposed to come out next spring. So we'll see.

Brakes done a second time at 21k. Turned the rotors and replaced the pads. No real difference in feel or apparent performance.

I'm not holding my breath that they put in some new fangled pad that fixes the problem.

Rotors resurfaced at 2300 miles, again at 4600 miles, and now going in again at 6700 miles. Never ending I tell you. Getting my brakes done is becoming a routine..... one in which I would love to end. :mad:

They went ahead and replaced the rotors, pads, etc. in my truck instead of resurfacing the rotors. The service guy told me that it is only a temporary fix though. He said that Nissan is working on a permanent solution and there may or may not be a voluntary recall later this year. :(
