We snapped a quick video Saturday to demonstrate the Sway-A-Way performance over some rough stuff. There's just no comparison to Bilstein or any other shocks available for a lower price.

The first curb was hit at 45 mph and the last one at 40 mph, my hand bumped the windshield wiper switch..

Ahhh, thanks! Those look badass. If I didn't just install my 5100's and spacers lift I might've done those.

Pops are you recommending this over the Blistens then? Have you had both of them on your Mada? What do you feel is the best improvement? Does the ride height change from stock? Any other modifications needed to get these on the truck?

BTW I was puckering up for you as you took those curbs. Sick video.

It totally depends on the person.... Bilsteins ride better for onroad use.... It's rough-a** backwoods pothole to hellin-a-handbasket roads and hardcore offroading where these puppies shine. The thing with these is they're expensive, they're about $1000.00/pair, FOX are about $1500.00/pair, but they never need to be replaced because if they go bad, you just order a rebuild kit and rebuild them or have a local offroad shop rebuild them for you. For me, it was a no brainer since I usually do my own work and will be keeping this vehicle for a long time to come. I've helped install the Bilstein on a couple Titans and ridden in a few... For mostly onroad, the Bilstein are fine, but if you offroad anything like I like to do, they're just not enough. Ride height is whatever size you order and where you crank them to.. I can adjust mine for 3" more lift for a total of 9" lift, if I ever decide to.

Sorry after reading all the posts on your other thread I got most of my answers. Man are those things expensive.

Yea, but it's just a one-time expense... :) Not much different than buying high performance racing shocks for your Lotus, the only difference is these are designed for Offroad racing. :D

True. The Lotus is the toy where the armada is the DD. in order from best to worst it sounds like:

1. Fox Shocks/King of the Road - about $1500/pair
2. Eibach Sway Away - about $1000/pair
3. Blisten 5100 -about $400/pair
4. Blisten HD - about $400/pair

Actually, Sway-A-Way vs Radflo vs Fox is all debatable because they're all pracitcally the same thing.. Eibach is the springs that they all use.

Yikes.....but I still I wonder how mine would drive with those and some upper control arms.
