Has anyone had a problem with the audio. Every once and a while the stereo will develop alot of engine noise and a few pops here and there and then it will go away. Its like there is a grounding problem or something. Does anyone know where the amp is located. I have the LE version with navigation and the Bose stereo.

I have heard the engine noise with the aftermarket HU hooked up to the Bose amp. It comes and goes, but a car audio installer said to ground the HU and Bose amp together and this should solve the problem. Haven't tried it since mine engine noise hasn’t come back for awhile so I don't know if it will work. The Bose amp is under the dash to the right side of the steering wheel on my 04.
