Just had a DVD conversion done to my navigation system. Used an Icon unit that had already been setup with the correct connectors for plug and play with the factory nav.

Great installation. Cost $700 installed. Unit was $500 uninstalled.

It may seem to be a high price but I live on Long Island, NY where everything is more expensive than in most of the rest of the country.

Still waiting for the wood kit I ordered to be delivered.

Don't forget to post some pictures, I did not decide on a wood dash kit yet ;)

I think he means he is using his NAV screen to play DVDs. Maybe from a stock DVD or aftermarket one. ;)

Just wondering where did you get you Icon unit and what model number did you buy? I was looking for a plug and play model myself. Thanks.
