Guys,

I was on a waiting list for the new "countermeasure" brakes for my 04 Armada. I found an attorney website www.nissanlemonlaw.com. They contacted Nissan for me, got me moved to the top of the list and got me some cash for my trouble. I would recommend these guys, they do not charge anything for their services; Nissan has to pay the fees!

Good luck!

Nissan has fixed my brakes immedietly, and I was not on a waiting list, all what I was waiting for is the new designed brakes system. during this time Nissan has turned my rotors once. and they took care of the problem. I am not out there looking to get money. I feel its not fair to do something like that.
I do not know where you live or how long you have been on the waiting list?, but I definetly do not need a lawyer.

BTW welcome, LOL :)

I did it the easy way. I drove into the dealership and had it done.

Me too,

I drove to the dealer and told them about the judder and they checked my history, (rotors turned already) and put on the new brakes and gave me a rental car for a day. I did not have any problems.

Uh, the parts have been in stock for almost 2 months. There should be no wait. Sorry to hear you've been having problems.

I never had them turned. I have never complained before either. I just called the dealer, said I had brake judder and got new rotors pads, calipers and rear rotors turned. This was before the recall letter came out too (about a week before I got it in the mail).

I do hear you about getting these guys to move. I had an undercoating issue and it was like pulling teeth to get them to fix. check yours drivers side rear there is a 50-50 chance there is a large triangle patch missing in the upper forward location.

Here's the factual Q&A.
Tech: Do you have brake problems, judder, sqeaks?
You: Not really, but I'm trying to fix them before there is a problem.
Tech: Have you been here before for brake rotor problems?
You: No, I just saw a TSB
Tech: OK, we'll put you on the list and give you a call.
Weeks go by, nothing.

Here's the correct Q&A.
Tech: Do you have brake problems, judder, sqeaks?
You: Yes
Tech: Have you been here before for brake rotor problems?
You: Yes (while rolling eyes)
Tech: OK, we'll do it!

"Sqeaky wheel" gets the oil. :D

Exactly why Nissan gets such poor marks in dealer service. The customer should not have to beg to get their car fixed.

I'm sure glad we have the Internet! Imagine how frustrating this would have been without the information we have from places like this!!!

PS - brakes done 4 times, roof vibration fixed 4 times, still not fixed to my satisfaction. But, I still love my Armada!!!
