I was at Quality Nissan for a control unit replacement, and saw they had a billet grille speacial ($300) not a good deal, so I went looking for other avenues. Found this site, and more mods than I could imagine. I am starting to see more and more Armadas here, I used to be a Pioneer, now just one of the lucky. So I want mine to stick out, to become that Pioneer again....... If you have any suggestions where I should start let me know, I have an A/V installer as a neighbor, but I think he'll charge too much.

I bought my mada at Quality Nissan. So far they've been really helpful. Ask for Christian if you ever need service. He's cool to deal with. He did all my TSB's like the cabin booming noise and the support bracket for DVD monitor vibration. If you have an '04 I highly recommend getting those 2 done. I think if you have an '05, then you should be ok. I got my grill from Quality and used it as a freebie to seal the deal. I got the lower grill off ebay from a company in San Diego for $150 and they sell the upper grill for $184. Maybe if we meet at a park or something I could borrow my buddies utility trailer and load up my pit and hook up some bar-b-que and a couplke of brews or somthing unless you all just plan on meeting for an hour or so it wouldn't be worth it. Just a thought.

we haven't decided on a date quite yet. but i will not be available the wknd of the 29-30, i'll be in vegas baby!! but i would like to set a date soon, cuz' i will start to get busy in Feb. between business trips and family visiting, i won't have much free time.

Sounds like a good idea. I know that Greg's dealership hosts an annual Nissan meet there. It was mostly Z's, but there were lots of other nice Nissans!

I live in Murrieta and just bought my '05 Armada four days ago. I have done the following mods so far:

1. Chrome rim exchange from Barney's Tire & Wheel
2. Upper and lower billet grill on order from Ranch Muffler
3. Clifford alarm and Sirius satellite radio (aftermarket) on order from Al & Ed's

To be done soon
1. Order fog lights and install myself
2. possibly install DVD system (although the kids are in the wife's SUV most of the time)
3. thinking about a bug shield (lots of freeway driving)
4. Reading these forums to get other mod ideas... :)

I have to say that this is one sweet ride!! I decided to get the SE and upgrade the things I want. My decision was mostly based on the fact that the cloth seats are WAY more comfortable than the leather. The moonroof is cool, but I never used it in my other vehicles so why waste the money.

Did you get your Mada' at Quality Nissan? Just curious how the experience was if you did. I got a bad experience there.
