Went looking for the transmission fluid dipstick but could not find it. Is there one? If not, what is the procedure for checking the fluid level on the 05 Pathfinder? I am finding the automatic shifting from first to second gear is not totally smooth. Suspecting a low fluid level.

it is on the left of the engine. It is bolted down, so you will need a 10mm wrench to get it out. Pretty strange setup. I have never seen a tranny dipstick that was bolted in place? I really wonder why.
