I have a 4Runner, and a lot of the guys on the 4Runner forum pull the (EFI) engine fuse or they disconneted the battery for an hour, prior to installing an intake or exhaust.

Is there a special fuse like this in the Armada that resets the engine computer?

People say this speeds up things much quicker after you add an intake and it re-learns the airflow settings much quicker, than if you don't do it. Usually, 200 miles if you don't, until the computer relearns for the new flow.

Thoughts for this on the ARMADA? Is there an engine fuse to pull, or disconnecting the battery is the other choice?

You need to reset the ECU. Look at this:

With reseting you know of the result right away (if it worked or not) pulling the battery still leave you with some guess work, how long to pull it off for, some say 24hrs but do you know for sure. :D I reset mine every two week or so.
