Just gotta say I'm not digging the new advertising placement. Of course its your site dude but it makes it look like no one has responded to the post unless you happen to scroll down and really look. Probably just me but that's how I see it.

P.S. Tried to join club titan but never got an email and password I set doesn't work. Recognizes the username I set but won't let me in. :pullout:

Well I was trying something I read about to see if it would improve clicks. See I pay out of my own pocket for the server fees and don't charge members anything and don't plan on doing so. The only way I can afford it though is to have a little income from the sites. We have a few sponsors but we dont make that much from them. Since the google ads pay per click I have to find a place that draws the best click through rate. I also tried to cut down on how many were being displayed and now only have them showing after the first post in a thread. There shouldnt be anymore showing except our regular sponsors ads at the top of each page. If its that big a deal I will try and figure something better out. Maybe a column ad on the side or something. Give me some ideas here I cant just remove them or I will be paying even more out of pocket.

Definately don't go column on us! I already have to pan sideways on numerous post so adds on the side will make it worse I'm guessing.

I don't mind the placement under the first post. Maybe as a part of our membership everyone needs to click on 1 ad each time we login?......Heck alone Triple B's ad clicks might support the site. :)

While thats a nice thought and I appreciate it. Doing that or even talking about it could get me kicked out of the Google program. Please nobody just start clicking they have ways of tracking this stuff. I will look at a better placement but it will be this weekend before I can work on it again.

You might think about a donate button. Set yourself up a paypal account, link it to the donate button, and we can toss some cash your way to help with the site expenses. I'd happily throw in.

There is a donate button linked to paypal under the User CP but I doubt if anyone has used it much.

If you are doing it for a reason than I have no quips about the placement. I'm sure all will agree its a small price to pay to keep this site alive and well. We have the highest reguards for you and your work on the site...next time just let us know what's up we'll help you out. :goteam:
