Has anyone seen the new Volant G3? Do you guys know if there is the optional air scoop available for this model. I know it is available for the G2. Also the G3 has an aluminum top. Correct me if I am wrong but doesn't aluminum conduct heat more so than plastic? :confused:

It's actually a sheet metal top. Look for my post. I have it installed. There is a provision for a cold air intake. Mine came with a rubber boot to plug the hole if I don't have a CAI.

Where did you get your g3? And how much did you pay? :D

WIll think about Borla dual exhaust followed by some new 22 inch rims later when the wallet is a bit thicker.

I am in the process of purchasing a Volant, How could I know if it is a GEN2 or 3, do they all have the aluminum lid? :confused:

order it from socal and ask for the gen3. tony is very familiar with the product. good luck. you will also need new exhaust system to maximize hp increase. I like the dual pipe look so i hope maybe by christmas i can order one. i traded my v8 touareg for the armada and i am glad i did.
